Technical difficulties

I do apologize for the long absence, I've been struggling trying to find time to post as well as having issues with my software. When I am back up and running I will be posting more regularly.


In the meantime I am sketching and making sure everything is ready to post when I do get my software issues resolved, so for now here is a picture I sketched up for a co-worker, I do believe it fits with today's post as I did mention technical difficulties.

June 13, 2014 and the 14th.

I'm still sketching away and trying to find a balance with the new day job to finish projects. Life happens but art must go on. In the mean time I was able to capture a couple of shots of the Friday the 13th full moon and a shot that was the following night.

Afternoon shots

I've had these stashed away since September 22, 2013. I was at my Grandfather's house at the edge of his property line and the neighbor's field when I took these shots from different angles. I like how vibrant they turned out.

Green Weekend

It's been a rare site here with the on again off again relationship that Old Man Winter and Mother Nature have been having lately. Finally some green grass, albeit a bit on the chilly side, but there was some sunshine and quite a bit less snow.

Lunch Time Doodle

Not sure where I'll be going with this sketch but I have been sketching and editing it since I started doodling during my lunch break a couple weeks ago. She appears to be shaping up as I sketch and shade along. I think I'll keep editing and determine what it is she's looking at as I go along. Going with a stream of consciousness drawing flow with this one as there was no model and it is still an ongoing piece.

Sun Pinch

While I've been busy trying to find time to post, time to sketch, and time to take a photo I am still creating. The balance between art and life can get skewed from time to time and this is one of those moments in my life. Although, the balance will return once I establish a new post, sketch, photography schedule. In the meantime here is a photo of a sunset I captured back in January. I like how the sun looks like it's being pinched or swallowed by the cloud.

Tribal Heart

Decided to share a belated Valentine's Day post. I've been busy as of late, but I am still setting the goal of attempting to post an average of 2 posts per month, so far I am behind on that goal. However, here is a new image to get started back on track.
