Just finished another project, I had a request to create a poster of Marilyn Monroe, and was told that the person's favorite color was brown so I used a black and white photo as a reference and colored my sketch in using Crayola colored pencils making sure I used brown for the dress to make sure I got the person's favorite color in the picture.
Marilyn Monroe was known for many reasons, two more commonly known were her works on film and the model used as the female form in certain comic series. I tried to combine the two in this piece.

I also like how there is a bit of a pop art element to this piece as well.
